Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said the government is making a huge effort not to raise fuel prices, but prices are determined by the market.
– At the moment with the addition of petrol and diesel wholesale liter is 2-2.20 lv If it goes away, it will fall in retail with 9-10 stotinki
– Oil companies want the right to publish prices for transparency
In the winter, fuels should not have a bio-feed to reduce their prices. This is one of the proposals of the Bulgarian Association of Oil and Gas (BPGA), presented on Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev.
The meeting was discussed
the price of fuel,
as well as for greater transparency in industry. There have been similar biofeedback practices in European countries such as Austria and Germany.
The association explains that the bio-component is twice as expensive as the price of the fuel itself. According to estimates by experts in the oil industry, biofuel costs more than 7 cents per liter of fuel. If the reduction is calculated without production, the final price may decrease by 9-10.
Abolition in the winter could be done without breaking Bulgaria's general obligation to comply with European legislation, BPG said.
According to the euro requirements for diesel, there should be 6% bioaddition and 8% gasoline. The main material for the production of biodiesel are vegetable oils, especially rapeseed. Sunflower, soy and animal fats can also be used. From one hectare, about 1500 liters of vegetable oil can be produced.
For bioethanol added to gasoline, mainly corn, potatoes, rye and wheat, beet and sugar cane are used.
At the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Donchev of the oil association companies, they also stated that
because they realized the complexity of the moment. The business is ready to discuss a change in corporate standards to reduce maintenance costs.
The oil association has been determined to be involved in the concerns and dissatisfaction of people because they are their customers. And, as one of the largest investors in Bulgaria, oil companies fully understood their responsibility to consumers.
One of the ideas already announced by the state
VAT, excise duty
in the price per liter of fuel. According to Andrey Delchev, executive director of the association, the offering of promising notes also has advantages and disadvantages. We will comment on them and we will come to an opinion, he said. He added that the drop in fuel in recent days was due to the drop in oil prices and not to protests.
The Association requested government assistance for talks with the Commission for the Protection of Competition,
to be able to
of the products
and see the existing margins. This measure should apply to all market participants, including so-called departmental gas stations.
BPGA also proposes that inspections by public authorities should declare the objects specifically verified, as well as the violations they have committed. The industry organization is also pushing for measures against the gray economy and for putting the fuel bill into operation on time.
The companies, members of BPGA, want to express their firm opinion that the solution of political and social problems can not be at the cost of discrediting entire sectors of the Bulgarian economy, adds the organization. From that point on, they add that the prosperity of the state and of society is based on conditions of political stability and economic predictability.
