Czech company Skoda has distributed a section that shows how the new Scala model will be. The information accompanying the chart says that the interior of the new hatchback will be using unique materials, textured surfaces, imitating a crystal structure and a completely rethought instrument panel.
The public debut of Scala is set for December 6 of this year and will be held at a special event in Tel Aviv. The overall Skoda Scala concept is based on the Vision RS concept, presented at the Paris Motor Show.
The interior of Scala
The serial hatch will feature a virtual cockpit with a 10.25-inch cockpit. The equipment list also includes extras such as ambient lighting. Infotainment system with the ability to control it through a smartphone and many other technologies known to us from top class cars.
The new Scala will be smaller than the Octavia, but its interior space will be almost identical to that of the Octavia. The volume of the luggage carrier of the Scala will be of 461 to 1,410 liters. The range of engines will include gasoline and diesel engines as well as a methane engine.
