Understand who has the right to the INSS's Pis-Pasep in 2019. The PIS salary of the calendar 2018-2019, base year 2017, began to be paid on Thursday (17) January for private sector workers born in January it's February. PIS is paid at Caixa Econômica Federal.

Who has the right

Private-sector workers withdraw money at Caixa Econômica Federal, and public servants at Banco do Brasil. You must present an identification document and the PIS / Pasep number.

In the case of PIS, for those who are cash register, payment is made 2 days before the rest of the other workers. In the case of Pasep, the account receivable for account holders of Banco do Brasil will be made from the 3rd business day prior to the start of each payment period.

Amount depends on the months worked

The amount of the credit is associated with the number of months worked in the previous year. Therefore, whoever worked a month in base year 2017 will receive 1/12 of the minimum wage. Those who worked 2 months will receive 2/12 and so on. You will only receive the full amount who worked the full base year 2017.

For example, if the period worked was 12 months, you will receive the full amount of the benefit, which is a minimum wage (R $ 998). If you worked for just one month, you will receive the equivalent of 1/12 of the salary (R $ 83), and so on.

Income from PIS

According to Caixa, when the PIS withdrawal is not made, the amount is included in the balance of quotas. At the end of the financial year (June 28), after updating the balance, the proceeds are made available for withdrawal in the new calendar. Earnings vary according to the balance in the PIS account linked to the employee.

In order to withdraw the PIS credit, the worker who has a Citizen's Card and a registered password can go to Caixa's self-service terminals or to a lottery house. If you do not have the Citizen's Card, you can receive the amount at any branch of the Caixa, upon presentation of an identification document.
