We just mentioned about a supposed Pocophone F2 that would have been homologated in China through the 3C certification – but apparently the device in question may end up being another model.
We are talking about a possible Redmi Note 8 Pro (review here) with different processor (the one already released brings the Helio G90T); It wouldn't be the first time Xiaomi would release two models with the same name and distinct SoC, this has happened before with Redmi Note 4 (which had version with Helio X20 and Snapdragon 650).
The tip was given by user Xiaomishka on Twitter, as we can see below:
The launch should take place in December. 😎

Pocophone F2: Xiaomi achieves first handset certification in China
We recently saw that a case maker "burned the start" and published the renderings of the Pocophone F2. With this, it was possible to know that Xiaomi really intends to launch the device by the end of the year.
Now, it seems, the Chinese giant has already started the certification process of the device. That's because the supposed Pocophone F2 received 3C approval carrying the numbering M1912G7BE / M1912G7BC.
However, as we know, this body does not usually release the full specifications of the devices. Therefore, the only information available is support for the 4G network (LTE) and the presence of one 27W fast charger.
For now, Xiaomi does not comment on rumors and leaks involving the Pocophone F2. Even so, the device should hit the market with a well-known look. This is because it seems that this smartphone will be a new version of Redmi K20.
On the other hand, there is also the possibility of launching the Redmi K20 Pro-based Pocophone F2 Pro. In both cases, rumors indicate that the Chinese should update the processor for Snapdragon 855 Plus.
In addition, price should be another big highlight of this new generation. However, we do not have a possible confirmed release date yet. Thus, we can only wait for the next steps of the Chinese.
Looking forward to the launch of the Pocophone F2? Tell us your thoughts in the comments field.
