Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will win its first map since launch. "Alcatraz" will arrive on April 2 and promises to increase the conflicts.

Set amidst the waters, in the famous Alcatraz prison, the setting wants to offer variety to the mood. The trailer below shows a bit more about the clashes:

The new map of Blackout, Alcatraz, sits on an island filled with fog, with a variety of environments leading to the large cellar wing at the top of the hill. Demanding new strategies and tactics, players will take action, equip and fight in both short-range and long-range bouts as they fight to be the last standing team.

Free Blackout

Treyarch also announced that the Blackout mode will "go free" during the month of April. Beginning April 2, ending on April 30th, all interested parties will be able to test the Battle Royale of Call of Duty.

It's worth mentioning that, as part of the partnership between Activision and PlayStation, the battle royale is initially free for PS4 users, and then for other platforms.

In the last update promoted by the developer, the Blackout mode received a Hardcore variant with features disabled, such as the user interface.
