In this final stretch of the season, Flamengo needs to keep his feet on the ground to achieve success in the remaining competitions. Undoubtedly, Arrascaeta is one of the pillars for this success of the team led by Jorge Jesus. At the press conference this Friday (15), the Uruguayan spoke of the importance of acting on Sunday against Grêmio.
– I need to play sunday. I'm coming back now, I need to get a game rate. Our team comes in a strong sequence of games, our coach's methodology is that, sparing no one. I'm available for him to go to the game. Obviously, this game (against Grêmio) does not have the same weight as a Libertadores final, but it is also very important for us.
Obviously, the match against the Rio Grande do Sul team is not as important as the match against River Plate. Despite being in the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship and very close to the title, the Rio team needs to earn three more points to continue in the pursuit of the seven-time championship. Still at the press conference, Arrascaeta praised the reserve players and states that athletes can change the game.
– We know their quality, but our team, in these last games, has shown the strength of the cast. Several players decided games after leaving the bench. This game can be like this from the beginning. Everyone knows the quality of Gerson, Aaron and Bruno. But whoever enters will do their best to keep their absences from being missed.

Grêmio and Flamengo are on the field this Sunday (17), at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Grêmio Arena, a match valid for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship. Because the Libertadores final will take place on the 23rd, Jorge Jesus will probably have to team up an alternative to the match.
