The Stib discovered this Monday in San Sebastián, its new subways. These new trains will allow for a 30% increase in capacity on lines 1 and 5, 20% in 2 and 6.
PMore details to facilitate boarding, a more spacious interior, information on the line … Le Soir was able to discover the new subway trains still under construction at the CAF plant in the suburbs of San Sebastián, in the Basque Country.
Nothing is left to chance for what is, to date, the largest order ever made for the Brussels network: 43 trains, including 22 delivered at the end of this year, at a total cost of 300 million.
Main beneficiaries of new subways? The rush hour regulars … It's been six years since your frequencies have not increased … This will be done next year. Good news, especially for the European district and the particularly congested Midi-Louise section.
