Colruyt and OKay are reminiscent of Boni Selection wild-game eggs, the Colruyt Group reported on Tuesday. One check revealed a slight exceedance of the regulatory standard for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), pollutants harmful to humans. Eggs from the relevant supplier were sold between March 29 and April 30. The packaging in question has the code BE-3674 and the eggs themselves are identifiable by code 1-BE1138-03.
These products are not likely to cause "direct effect on public health", says the Colruyt group. However, it is advisable for customers who bought them not to consume them and bring them back to their store, where they will be reimbursed.
