Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda and son of former BCL leader SM Shahjada Saju received the Awami League nomination in the Patuakhali-3 (Galachipa-Dashmina) electorate in the 11th parliamentary election.

BNP Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the EC's neutrality was questioned due to the appointment of the Awami League party in the Patuakhali-3 constituency.

The secretary general of the BNP criticized the Electoral Commission (EC), the EC failed to play in the field of fair conditions. At the same time, he blamed the EC for the arrest of party leaders and workers.

In the context, 22 documents of appointment of the Awami League were collected in the electoral district of Patuakhali-3 of Galachipa-Dashmina upazila. In this group, SM Shahzada Saju was nominated by the team. He is the son of Chief Electoral Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda.

Awami League hopes for another appointment and former member of the electorate, AQ Jahangir Hossain Jago said the news on Sunday: "I can not find any reason not to give appointment." Find a reason for him (SM Shahzada Saju) appointment; separation from the ECC, I am not divorcing anyone.
