The control of the minibus turned in a lost canopy
The owner of the jewelery owner Grameen, his mother and his sister were killed in a ditch after losing control of the minibus in Kampurpur, Faridpur, on the Dhaka-Khulna highway.
Four others were injured in this incident. The wounded were admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
The incident occurred in Kamrpur in Faridpur sadar upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna highway on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Aslam Mollah, 58, his mother Mahirunnisa (75) and his sister Aasiya Begum (55), owner of Grameen Jewelers.
Road police said that the owner of the jewelers Grameen Aslam Molla and his relatives, who were returning home from the village of Faradpur, Alfadanga, with minibuses, returned home. When the minibus driver lost control on the spot, the minibus fell into a ditch at the side of the road.
The owner of Jewelers Grameen Aslam Molla and his mother Mahirunnesa and his sister Aasia Begum died on the spot. Police and the fire brigade rescued four wounded and were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital with the help of local residents. The condition of two of the wounded hospitalized at the hospital was alarming.
The officer in charge of the Faridpur Kotwali Police Station, AFM Nasim, said police and fire brigade sent the wounded to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
