A university student took a seat at the house of a boyfriend demanding marriage in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj. The woman said she would go to a lover's room or go to the grave.

Residents said a third-year Nazim Uddin High School student from the Madaripur district government, along with Miraj Khandker, son of Nurul Huq Khandker from the Narikelbari village of Uphila's Radhaganj union, had a love affair in the last three years.

On Thursday, Miraj Khandaker informed the girl about her marriage to another. On that day, university student Miraj Khandker arrived at the house and demanded a marriage. When Miraz ran away from the house, the marriage became a mess.

The young woman said, my mother and my aunt beside Miraj's house. My love relationship with Miraj is due to being here. He is currently working on Rangamati Cantonment. Miraj came to me on vacation and in several moments Miraz gave me the wedding guarantee. If Miraj does not marry me now, I'm going to commit suicide in this house.

When asked about Miraj's father, Nurul Haque, he declined to comment.

Radhaganj Union president Amrit Lal Haldar said that until Saturday night, the boy and the girl were socially involved in the matter. I heard that both parties agreed to marry the boy's daughter.
