When Ashe is Coming to the Overwatch PTR
During BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard finally revealed the latest hero to join his shooting team. While it is fully playable in the event, most fans are wondering when it will be fixed on the test servers. That said, here it is when Ashe is coming to the Overwatch PTR.
Ashe and his robot helper, BOB, will join the Overwatch as the 29th official hero. It comes packed with a powerful lever action rifle, a training pistol and dynamite sticks in its arsenal. For her supreme ability, she can call the BOB, who basically acts as the seventh team member of her team.
Although there have been some gameplay videos here and there, some fans can not wait to experience Ashe for themselves. It packs the punch quite a lot and has its own unique strategies on the battlefield.
As with all other Overwatch heroes, Ashe is definitely going to the PTR before she hits the servers live. It will be tuned in and tested before joining the rest of the list on official servers. With BlizzCon finally over, fans can expect Ashe to come to the PTR this week.
Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan specifically mentioned that they would be releasing "as early as possible next week" in a flow of gameplay over the weekend of BlizzCon. Although we do not yet have an exact release date, there may be a chance that they can fix it in Overwatch PTR on Tuesday, seeing as this is the official patch day in the game.
We will update this post as soon as we know the official date when Blizzard will place it on the PTR. Regardless, fans will not have to wait also long before they could attack enemies on the battlefield with the Ashe action rifle.
In addition to its official trailer, Blizzard also released a new Overwatch movie entitled "Reunion". This short in private animation follows D.Va's "Shooting Star" and delves more into McCree's story with the Deadlock Gang and his relationship with Ashe.
The short animation also reveals a new character named Echo, who will apparently play a big role in the Overwatch tradition. In addition, she is also scheduled to become another playable hero in the future, as Kaplan also triggered her eventual appearance in the game.
This is just about everything you need to know about when Ashe is reaching the PTR servers. For more details on Overwatch and BlizzCon, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
