The intimate snaps were released yesterday in The Sunday Times – and show Charles, 70, in several different lights.
Chris Jackson, who broke with the royal family in the last 15 years and had exclusive access to the prince last year – said family images were "the happiest I've ever seen."
He added: "It was a lovely chaos with the grandchildren – he is a very practical grandfather."
