The Roosters will not be able to count on striker Jared Waerea-Hargreaves on Thursday night as he kills a painful rib injury he suffered in last week's win over the eels.
However, the former are boosted by the return of midfielder Cooper Cronk, who spent two weeks on the sidelines with tendon stiffness.
For the Broncos, the James Roberts center is left indefinitely with an Achilles tendon injury.
