Remember the OA? It was this amazing TV show that Netflix launched out of nowhere – no ads, no trailers, no promotion of any kind – in 2016 and made everyone anxious for a few weeks.
It also had a twisting end that proved quite divisive.
The streamer has announced a second season some time ago, and now has a release date and a trailer after years of silence. So at least this time you know it's coming.
The new season will fall on March 22nd and you can watch the first trailer below.
The science fiction and supernatural show revolves around a young woman who reappears seven years after her disappearance. The new chapters (look away now if you have not seen the first season and plan) will follow your journey in a new dimension where she had a different life as a Russian heiress.
The story will also feature a private detective in search of a missing teenager and a strange house linked to the disappearance.
Brit Marling will return to OA in the lead role, alongside Jason Isaacs, Emory Cohen, Patrick Gibson, Phyllis Smith and Brendan Meyer. Marling is a co-creator of the show with Zal Batmanglij.
New cast members include Kingsley Ben-Adir and Chloe Levine while Riz Ahmed was announced as guest star.
OA The second season is available for streaming on Netflix on March 22 at 7:00 p.m. (BrasÃlia time).
