Do you remember the original? The God of War trilogy was released with a bunch of behind-the-scenes videos that you can watch after completing the game? We were a bit disappointed that they never made it to last year's critically acclaimed soft reboot, but the PlayStation was a little better: you've shot a full documentary that will be posted on YouTube soon.
Raising Kratos is released as a "second chance film journey with roots in the family, sacrifice, struggle and doubt." It took us three years to mount, with over 400 hours recorded. We sincerely hope that a small part of the documentary focuses on director Cory Barlog's sandwiching skills, as this was the secret highlight of God of War II.
"The ultimate goal was to go beyond taking a piece and deepening the experiences of those who spend relentless time and effort to do something great," wrote Scott Rohde of Sony on the PlayStation Blog. "All creative efforts, especially those of this magnitude, require an incredible amount of dedication and focus that constantly accompany the fine line between success and failure."
