A cyclist was killed in a car crash and flight incident in western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Harry Avenue and Maud Street, Lidcombe, around 4:45 am on Tuesday after reports of a male cyclist getting hit by a car.
The man died on the spot. He was not formally identified.
The car, described as a white or gray sedan, could not stop after the incident, police said in a statement.
Officers from the Auburn Police Department established a crime scene and began investigations.
Police are asking for public assistance to locate both the car and its driver – which they have described as an Asian-looking woman believed to be over 30 years old.
