On Tuesday, the court sentenced 8 years for the possession of narcotics for marketing purposes, with the aggravating circumstance that was provided to minors and in the vicinity of a school.

The same penalty went to another of the accused, Juan Pablo Offidani (43). The third of the men who was tried, Alejandro Maciel (61), was acquitted. During the trial, the indictment was dropped.

The trial began on October 30 and ended on Tuesday, November 26. It is an emblematic case: in 2016, provoked the first national women's strike in Argentina.

For Marcelliac, Farias was the author of sexual abuse and femicide, while Offidani acted as required participant. The claim

The case

The prosecutor Daniel Vicente asked for life imprisonment for Farías and 18 for Offidani, besides the acquittal of Maciel, since during the trial the specialists discarded the washing of the girl's body.

The prosecution hypothesis is that Lucia met Farias and Offidani the day before her death on October 7, 2016, when they approached her through a friend of the local school 3 to sell her a marijuana cigarette.
