They detected six new cases of dengue fever


SALTA (Redaccin) The authorities of the hospital San Vicente de Pal, in the city of Orn confirmed that six people are under medical treatment because they have been infected dengue. In addition, they added that they are conducting studies for a seventh person since it has symptoms related to the disease. This group of infected persons is added to the three cases that were reported in the city of Tartagal.

In this regard, the deputy manager of the health center, Moiss Yarade, confirmed that those affected by this disease are "two women and four men, all old living in the neighborhood February 20," reporting that "the suspect case" is from the 402 Housing District. "In testimony to FM 92.3, the professional indicated that only one of the women remains in the hospital, while the rest are in outpatient treatment.

On the other hand, the doctor said that only two of the six confirmed paintings will be indigenous. In addition, he said that, based on this evidence, a series of procedures was ordered to effect blockades in the sectors of the city where those conditions were developed. He also noted that infected individuals carry the same strain that occurred in other years.

Meanwhile, Yarade has confirmed that dengue fever does not represent "a local problem, but it crosses the whole country." In that sense, the doctor said that "there are three positive cases in the capital, ten in the border city of Bermejo, Litoral, Santa Fe and Buenos Aires." Similarly, he recommended that "we should not be afraid, but knowledge, and consult immediately before the first symptom of fever."

On the other hand, the Municipality of Orn decided to strengthen the awareness and prevention campaign for Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya. In the first place, they were in charge of divulging a communiqué in which the risks of contagion are warned for the people that have to travel to Bolivia. Meanwhile, the Tropical Disease Center team implemented the border blockade in the city of Aguas Blancas.
