The International Space Station (ISS) can be seen with the naked eye from Mendoza tonight, according to Italian amateur Ignazio Magnani and later confirmed by NASA.

Directed by Sergei Prokopyev, Serena Auñon-Chancellor and Alexander Gerst, the ISS will enter Mendoza's sky at 21:32 in the southwest at 28 degrees, and will be visible to the naked eye for two minutes as it moves northeast.

As long as the clouds allow, the station would be visualized as a luminous point moving at an average speed through space. It will be the second brightest object in the night sky, ahead of the planet Venus.
