Apple's smart watch has undergone an elegant redesign with a larger, brighter screen (in two sizes), a more powerful processor and additional vital-signal monitoring functions to help you achieve your fitness goals and potentially save money your life. Series 4 is the first wearable which is sold directly to the consumer with an ECG feature that can help physicians diagnose heart-related distress such as atrial fibrillation along with a fall detection feature that notifies emergency contacts and automatically makes 911 calls when it registers you had a dramatic fall. It also adds cellular connectivity to Watch to send messages, make calls or request a free phone service for a car.
The downside: Its battery has a shorter battery life (lasts approximately two days with a recharge) and its price is $ 499 (for the LTE version). But if you want to spend less, there's always the Series 3 watch from last year, which shares many of the same cool features for a lot less.

If you have a device, or you're just looking for an alternative to Apple Watch, the works with both devices like Android. With its round dial and rotating bezel, it's one of the best smart watches we've seen this year. It has hit the market in two different screen sizes, three metal finishes and interchangeable bands that you can customize to work or train. It is an excellent companion to your exercise routine with automatic conditioning detection, built-in GPS, and sleep monitoring. It also comes in a LTE version that works independently from the phone and also comes with the Samsung Pay, but you can only use it on NFC-enabled terminals (the MSTs do not). The Samsung Galaxy Watch starts at $ 300 or $ 380 for the LTE version.

If you're looking for the best deal for every dollar invested, it's hard to beat the $ 80 price tag of the. This device has all the basic functions you expect from a smart watch and can be compared to just about any other device in that list. You can get a battery of one to four weeks with a single recharge depending on usage. Do not expect a sophisticated OLED display on this watch, and the dial is made of plastic instead of metal, but is thinner and much lighter on the wrist. You can set alerts and notifications, activity monitoring, GPS, heart rate record and is water resistant, but can not respond to messages, store music or set up mobile payments.
