Ten years after launching the Galaxy range, Samsung designs a super foldable mobile phone

The mysterious foldable mobile is not, of course, the only card that Samsung will play in the mobile market and the latest that has been known comes in the form of information published by the Wall Street Journal in which it ensures that the Koreans would be preparing a super mobile to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the successful Galaxy range.

Following closely the movements of Apple with the iPhone X, Samsung would celebrate the ten years of the launch of the original Galaxy presenting a terminal that would completely break with everything seen to date and bring us closer to what will come in the next years in the segment.

The original Samsung Galaxy was announced on April 27, 2009 in response to that mobile transgressor, the iPhone, which went on sale just a couple of years earlier. As for what Samsung would have on the stove, we would be facing a multiple launch of up to four premium smartphones that would be announced in February in the framework of the Mobile World Congress. 2019 is going to be a fast-paced year for the Asian giant since, as we have pointed out, it is rumored that its folding mobile would see the light in March of that same year, creating a wide range of options for the followers of the mark.

According to the information published, Samsung would present its new dish internally baptized as "Beyond X", a new wink to the iPhone X and using the same Roman numeration to refer to the tenth anniversary. What would be the main novelties of this device? First of all, the size.

The manufacturer was the first to dare to shoot the size of mobile screens with the original Galaxy Note, and since then, the mobiles have not finished growing. In this model, we would be facing a huge 6.7-inch screen, leaving behind the 6.4 inches of Note 9 and approaching dangerously close to a small tablet (the iPad mini has 7.9 inches of screen).

The new model would also support the 5G networks, the expected evolution of the current 4G, a connectivity that will leave in oblivion the connection and download speeds of mobile phones that will certainly cause a change of habits among users.

The adoption of the 5G in this model is very important in the race that frees the manufacturer with Apple, which has not yet advanced or is imminently awaiting its support on the iPhone. And in this crazy career that seems to follow a "more, better," the device is rumored to have up to six cameras, two front and four rear, an excess of optics that is not new Samsung precisely.

The other great innovation of this equipment is that it will serve its owners as 'power bank' or external battery with which to charge wireless devices compatible with Qi. The principle is simple: a smartphone with such a large screen will necessarily enjoy a battery too oversized why not take advantage of it to also charge other devices? Samsung could follow in the footsteps of Huawei with its Mate 20 Pro, a computer that offers the reverse charge: a device that supports Qi load is placed on its back and the mobile itself will load this equipment. From this newspaper has contacted the manufacturer, who has not wanted to make statements about it.
