The double screen seemed to have gone out of style, but at CES 2019 Nubia launched the Nubia X, a phone that simply seduces by its genius. If you pick it up by the main screen, the larger of 6.26 inches, it looks like a regular phone, but when you plug it in, a 5.1 inch OLED screen appears, which works perfectly.
The company explains that this second screen placed under a dual camera has the goal of allowing you to look at your reminders, calendar or function as a normal panel, in which you can read better because your vision is smaller, for example.
But an additional trick is that the phone does not have a front camera, which allows you to reduce the bezels on the main panel. And how do you do selfies? Simple: you turn on the phone and see the secondary screen, which makes you see yourself on the panel to make your self portrait and at the same time add something extra: a good quality photograph made with a double camera of 24 + 16 megapixels.
To switch between screens, you must press the sides of the phone, where two sensors are located, just turn it on and, voila, the second screen is already active.
The OLED panel can also be used as a secondary screen for playing video game controls, which adds a fun experience to titles like Pubg Mobile.
These two side sensors I mentioned earlier are also the security mechanism of the device because they function as fingerprint sensors.
Nubia has also launched at CES 2019 the Nubia Red Magic Mars, which will go on sale in the United States this quarter.
