The femicide José Arce (68), sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife Rosana Galliano (29), died Saturday at a hospital where he was hospitalized for pressure problems.
To send to kill Galliano, which at the time was mother of two children, 2 and 4 years oldArce and her mother, Elsa Aguilar, were sentenced to the maximum penalty, but had the benefit of house arrest. The most controversial of the case is that Justice he had granted them custody of the two children Arce kept with Galliano.
The news of Arce's death was announced on Saturday by Oscar Galliano, brother of the murdered woman. The killer was hospitalized at the Sanguinetti Hospital in Pilar after suffering a peak of pressure.

Arce had already had previous health problems, which is why he requested the electronic ankle brace.
Rosana Galliano was murdered on January 16, 2008 around 22 in a village in the El Remanso neighborhood in Exaltation of the Cruz. The young woman was there with one of her sisters. They agreed to meet with Arce so the man could take his children away.
The women were about to eat dinner when the phone rang and, as Rosana had a bad signal on her cell phone, she had to go to the park to talk. As she spoke, someone shot her and killed her.
By 2013, Arce and her mother had been condemned to life as responsible for "triple homicide aggravated by the bond, by treason and by having been committed premeditatedly by two or more people." It was not possible to establish who had consummated the murder, since the Leguizamon brothers – who were judged as responsible for the murder – were acquitted.
But the femicide and his mother were recently arrested in July 2014, when the Court of Appeals upheld the decision of the court of first instance. Similarly, a few months later, in February 2015, they received the home arrest benefit.

Despite the condemnation they received, Justice did not take possession of the two boys, who must have lived for ten years with the murderer of his mother. Besides, Arce was the one who defined the conditions: his children could see their grandparents every 15 days, but not their uncles or cousins. But, according to the family, he did not even complete the visits every two weeks.
"It is incredible that with the condemnation he has, he is very hot in his house, living with the children and he does not let us see them." Why does he have so many privileges? If he and his mother are two psychopaths, they are sinister. Justice does not see that the children are in danger, they have already killed my daughter, they can also kill them … "said Graciela and Reinaldo, Rosana's parents in a note with Clarín in 2015.
At the end of 2016, Judge Carlos Ruiz, head of Family Court No. 5 in San Isidro, ordered the two children to be reunited with their grandparents.
