The CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie announced today in a joint statement that they divorce after 25 years of marriage.
"After a long period of exploring love and separation from judgment, we decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends"the couple said in a note posted on the entrepreneur's Twitter account.

Bezos, 54, and MacKenzie, 48they got married in 1990s in New YorkShortly before moving to Seattle, on the Pacific coast, where the entrepreneur founded Amazon.
"We are incredibly happy to have met and deeply grateful for each of the years we were married, if we knew we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all over again," added the couple, who have four children.
Bezos, also the owner of the newspaper The Washington Post, is considered the richest person in the world, with fortune estimated at about 137 billion dollars.
MacKenzie is the author of several novels and is the executive chairman of the ByStander Revolution abuse organization, launched in conjunction with her husband in 2014.
