Google Maps: How to get started with your messaging service | Technology and Science | News

A week ago, Google Maps has announced that its users will now be able to communicate directly with the companies that appear on their maps. This would be possible thanks to the integration in your Google My Business application platform.

The new feature is gradually being integrated into users around the world. In our country there are already people who use the service, so it is useful to know where and how to find it so that you can talk to the administrators and owners of different local companies.

If you have the above mentioned update, just open the application Google Maps, search for and locate the company you want to send a message to, and then tap the message icon that appears on your company information sheet.

As shown in the shared screens along with this note, the map service will offer a pop-up window. This is a dialog box where you can send your message. When you specify your query or end your conversation, simply slide the window to the side to return to the map.

And ready. It's as simple as sending a message to a local Google Maps. If you do not find the option within your application, you will have to be patient and wait for the service to update its functions on your device. Also, keep in mind that companies also need to enable this option through the Google My Business app.
