A four-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at a vacation colony in the town of Villa Gobernador Gálvez in Santa Fe near Rosario, judicial sources said on Friday.
The event took place last Thursday afternoon at the sports center of the Cooperativa Integral de Villa Gobernador Gálvez "Enrique Gomara".
According to sources explained, the victim attended with other children Monday to the holiday colony, in the city located south of Rosario, and last Thursday, when the authorities responsible for the children realized that they were missing a drink
Immediately, the teachers began to look for him inside the facilities until arriving at the swimming sector, where they discovered that the baby was lying in the bottom of one of the pools, in which, due to its depth, it did not support itself.
Despite the resuscitation tasks performed by the local nurse, the boy died.
The investigation is in the hands of the promoter Valeria Piazza Iglesias, who has preserved the minor's identity so far, and said authorities will be charged with manslaughter.
