Who has the last word in the download window?

Kaizer Chiefs may have the last word of the January PSL download window at his press conference this afternoon.

The amakhosi have been very quiet and their supporters have been asking questions about any recruitment to strengthen the squad.

The bosses have so far promoted left-back, Happy Mashiane, from development to the main team. On the other hand, the Glamor Boys are connected to other players.

The most prominent of these has been the Ugandan international Emmanuel Okwi, who is preparing for the Tanzanian team Simba.

The bosses are also linked to goalkeepers Darren Keet of Bidvest Wits and more recently to Ron Williams Williams of SuperSport United.

But the player they are most likely to reveal is Reeve Frosler, the Wits' right-back.

The 21-year-old has signed a pre-contract with the Chiefs, which will take effect on July 1, but they are trying to get the Clever Boys to release him earlier.

The bosses relied on Kgotso Moleko to fill the position in the absence of Ramahlwe Mphahlele, who has recovered from a knee injury.

Mamelodi Sundowns, meanwhile, should still send Lucky Mohomi on loan to SuperSport United.

Players who can sign even after the transfer window close at midnight are the likes of Mandla Masango, who is a free agent and training with Highlands Park. The Highlands are also expected to register Enoch Mkhabela.
