JOHANNESBURG – STJ Vice-President Raymond Zondo renewed his request for people with information on state capture to appear before the commission.

Zondo was reacting to allegations by former MEC Mxolisi Dukwana that several people in the province witnessed widespread corruption under the reign of ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule as prime minister.

Dukwana testified that Gupta offered him a monthly bribe of R2 million in exchange for his signature on a multi-billion rand construction contract.

Zondo says the commission relies on whistleblowers to rely on the work of the investigation.

"We need people who know things that happened, people who have the courage to introduce themselves."
