Now, here's a mod that most Mortal Kombat 11 PC fans should be using. Created by Endri Lauson, this mod removes the ridiculous 30fps lock from the Fatal Blows, Fatalities, Krypt and cut-scenes of the game.
As such, the game now looks softer than ever and – which is surprising – also fixes the TAA ghost that the original version suffered.
Not only that, but this mod also adds adequate support for 21: 9 monitors by removing the black sidebars in menus and Krypt for people who use Ultrawide monitors.
It's worth noting that Krypt is incredibly un-optimized and even some powerful PC systems may not be able to run it at 60fps. Let's test this mod with our RTX2080Ti and see if we can get a 60fps experience on Krypt, so stay tuned for more.
Now, I should also note that it is not known if this mod will cause problems or not. We do not hear anything now about the QLOC prohibiting anyone using this mod, at least for now, it is safe to use. However, and similarly to all mods for online games, there is a small chance that you will be banned from using it.
But anyway, those interested can download the mod from here. All you have to do to install it is to unzip and open FpsCapRemover_by_Endri_v1.001.exe, and then start the game. Then you can press F11 to remove the 30fps cover and enable 60fps and / or F10 to remove the black sidebars.
Congratulations to our reader "John Mellinger III?For letting us know!
