Mortal Kombat has always been known for its blood and courage, and the first gameplay of Mortal Kombat 11 reveals that the last game in the series promises to be one of the most brutally violent ever.

NetherRealm Studios unveiled the next edition of the game for the first time during the 2018 Game Awards. Now we finally have some Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay footage and more details on what to expect from the next game.
Mortal Kombat 11 is set soon after the events of Mortal Kombat X which was released in 2015. This is an incredible way to present the first gameplay scenes of Mortal Kombat 11 with some of the moments featuring all the blood, blood and brutal drama I came to love the Mortal Kombat franchise.
Baraka of Mortal Kombat 2 returns in Mortal Kombat 11. This vicious character was a fan favorite, and his extremely violent moves were shown during the revelation of Mortal Kombat's gameplay 11. In it, he faces the legend of Mortal Kombat, Scorpion . Both characters delivered some epic scrapes in the gameplay revelation. Some of them included a slow-motion photo of Baraka biting Scorpion and pulling a vein.
Fatalities are back. In this gameplay of Mortal Kombat 11, Baraka's Fatality sees him literally tearing Scorpion's face and skull and picking up his brain with a blade, then biting brutally. A lot of other bloody Fatalities are shown at the end of the presentation, which you can check below.
Another new character in Mortal Kombat 11, Geras, was also briefly revealed during the game event. Other classic characters from Mortal Kombat, such as Sub-Zero and Sonya Blade, should also return in Mortal Kombat 11.
The gameplay of Mortal Kombat 11 revealed new game mechanics that will be introduced, including three new meters. Traditionally, a meter was used to track offensive attacks, defensive moves and super moves. Now three meters will be available for players in Mortal Kombat 11, which include:
- A horizontal meter, which measures attack attacks;
- A vermeter, which shows the defensive attacks; and
- A meter, which accompanies the special movements and allows for more brutalities, fatalities and huge amounts of violence and violence.
Visually, Mortal Kombat 11 seems to be one of the most detailed and realistic games in franchise history. This all adds up to how brutally and dramatically violent the game is for gamers. Other new features include better character customization, with you being able to really make the characters look realistic, creating a more authentic experience in Mortal Kombat 11.
Although the game has been updated a bit, this gameplay of Mortal Kombat 11 does not seem as exciting as the revelation of its predecessor. The game does not seem to have many upgrades and major upgrades. With that being said, Mortal Kombat 11 is probably all you're looking for in a fighting game and fans of the franchise will surely take advantage of the brutality of this new game.
Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to be released on April 23, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The beta starts on March 28, 2019.
