[LISTEN] My life beyond HIV

[ad_1]

Pholokgolo Ramothwala helped shape the HIV / AIDS discourse in South Africa for more than twenty years through his work on the Action Campaign for Treatment.

In addition, it helps those diagnosed with the disease through their own business, The Positive Convention Network.

He recently published his book My Life Beyond HIV: What HIV Has Taught Me In 20 Years.

Ramothwala sat down with Azania Mosaka to talk about his remarkable journey.

My younger sister who comes after me, we talk a lot and she is supportive. The people around you help a lot.

My job now is 90% working with infected people. With most of them being a process, some in five years they still do not have the energy to talk to someone about being positive. I get people who say that you're the first person I've divulged and I've been positive for eight years.
