Pharrell Williams, David Guetta and African star Wizkid are among the artists contributing new songs to Global Citizen EP 1, a four-track collection launched by Global Citizen in partnership with Warner Music Group's Parlophone United. based in the Atlantic.
The EP is slated to be released on all digital platforms on November 30th. The song "E-Lo" by Los Unidades and Pharrell Williams (feat. Jozzy), is available from today and as an instant grat download with the purchase of the EP. , which has earmarked resources to support campaigns and advocacy efforts to eradicate extreme poverty, as well as other causes such as gender equality, education, water and sanitation. Chris Martin of Coldplay is the curator of Global Citizen's annual multi-artist concerts held in New York and scheduled for South Africa on December 2 (a Nelson Mandela inspired lyric accompanies today's announcement).

Global Citizen Festival: The Mandela 100 will feature performances by Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Ed Sheeran, Eddie Vedder, Femi Kuti and Usher, among others.
