After several years in France, seasoned prostitute Craig Burden is back in training with the Sharks. CRAIG LEWIS reports.
The 33-year-old has been seen in training with the Sharks' Super Rugby, and although he understands that he is not under contract, he can be given a chance if he impresses.
Burden previously played for the Sharks from 2006 to 2013, and while he was included in the Springbok squad in 2012, he failed to gain a test limit.
The explosive prostitute spent two seasons in Toulon before a short time with Montpellier, and has been at the Stade Français for the past three years.
Flying under the radar, Burden now slipped back to Durban, where he is effectively being tried. With Akker van der Merwe joining the Sale Sharks after this Vodacom Super Rugby season, it remains to be seen if Burden could win another contract at Kings Park.
