One star is born the first sessions

A star is born was nominated for eight Oscars last weekend, but only came out with one for Best Original Song. However, the performance of "Shallow" by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga was one of the greatest moments of the night. Now, Warner Bros. Pictures will enjoy this wave with a long stretch of the movie being released in theaters with new images and new songs.

A Warner Bros. is bringing the A star is born cut to 1,150 screens across North America beginning this Friday. The new footage includes longer performances of the opening song "Black Eyes," as well as "Alibi" and the parking lot scene where Lady Gaga sings the Oscar-winning song "Shallow."

As for the new song, a scene with Lady Gaga's ballad, "Is That Alright?" Was put back in the film. But she's not the only one to have a new song. Images of Bradley Cooper as Jackson Maine singing "Too Far Gone" is part of A star is born cut out too. In addition, a new song called "Clover," which was not included in the film's soundtrack, will be in the film.

Here is a preview of a scene that was portrayed in the film with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper working on "Clover" on a stage of shows (via Entertainment Weekly):

All new images and music added to the movie result in A star is born extended cut being 12 minutes longer than the original theatrical version. Is that enough for fans to see the movie in theaters again? A star is born is now available in home video and grossed almost $ 219 million at the national box office. We'll find out if fans love the movie enough to pay admission to see a new cut of the movie this weekend. Certainly many Lady Gaga fans will be among them.

You will notice that this relaunch of A star is born is not being called the director's cut, and probably because the final version we got in theaters originally is what Bradley Cooper wanted everyone to see. But even so, director of photography Matthew Libatique He referred to this cut as such when we heard about it last year, and it seems that Cooper was probably involved in creating this new version of the movie.
