The South African Association of Automotive Journalists (SAGMJ) has announced the winners of 2019 AutoTrader South African Car Competition of the Year (COTY) on Thursday (April 4) at a gala event in Gauteng.
Tests for SA Car of the Year took place in March at the Kyalami racetrack, along with road driving in Johannesburg and static evaluations.

For the first time in the 34-year history of the contest, the categories were introduced in the SA Car of the Year competition.
The overall winner is the Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
